Apply for a Library Card
Patrons must come into the library and fill out and sign a “Resident” or “Visitor” Library Card Registration application to register for a library card. There is also online Patron Registration for a temporary card here. Patrons will still need to come into the library to get a permanent card. Library cards are issued free of charge. Patrons must provide a picture ID, either a driver’s license or state ID, on behalf of themselves and/or minor children. Birthdate is required on application forms. The person whose signature is on the card application is responsible for all materials borrowed from the library under that library card number according to the policies of the lending library. Applicants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the application form. Library cards expire after one year. Cards may be renewed after verification of application information. Patrons with lost cards should notify the library as soon as possible and request a replacement card. There is a $2.00 fee for each new card.
